History of Rajdoot Bike

The first Rajdoot bike in India was launched around 1970. But initially the demand for 173CC, 2 stroke engine, low power bikes was low. Rajdoot, which produced only 7.5 BHP of power and 12.7 Nm of peak torque, gained fame after the film 'Bobby'. Rishi Kapoor was seen driving Rajdoot in his first film. He was successful in attracting the youth. The Rajdoot GTS 175 bike, which was running in loss, became the favorite bike of the youth. With increasing demand, the design of the bike was changed. But by the 1990s, the company's sales started declining. Due to competition from other companies, lack of safety features and shortage of bike parts, the company stopped production in 1991.
