Navratri Day 1: Yellow (Shailaputri)
3rd October is the first day of Navratri. On this day, Maa Durga's Shailaputri
form i.e. the daughter of the Himalayas is worshipped. Mother Shailputri's
favorite color is yellow. In such a situation it is auspicious to wear yellow
colored clothes on the first day of Navratri.
Navratri Day 2: Green (Brahmacharini)
