The first glimpse of the famous Lalbaugcha Raja of Mumbai has come out. The
crown worth Rs 16 crore adorning his head has become the center of attraction.
Ganpati Bappa gave darshan to the devotees amidst cheers. A large number of
devotees gathered here. Lalbaugcha Raja is the most famous Ganesh Mandal in
Mumbai. VVIPs from all over Maharashtra come here for darshan. Ganeshotsav is
celebrated with gusto in Maharashtra. Ganesh Chaturthi festival will be
celebrated on 7 September.
Sudhir Sitaram Salvi of Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal said,
"The first glimpse of Lalbaugcha Raja has come out in a very good way. The
mandal has been prepared well. The line for darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja will
start from tomorrow. We will make people have darshan in a good way."
The grand look of the idol of Lalbaugcha Raja of Mumbai remains the center of
attraction among the devotees. The design of the idol keeps changing every
year. During Ganeshotsav, a large number of people come here to have darshan

According to the report, Anant Ambani has been appointed to an honorary
position in Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal. The Ambani family
has contributed to the Patient Assistant Fund Scheme of this Ganesh Mandal.
Reliance Foundation has also given 24 dialysis machines to Lalbaugcha Raja
Mandal. Every year the Ambani family also donates crores.
The first glimpse of the King of Lal Bagh is mesmerizing. This year the King
of Lal Bagh is seen drenched in some royal color. The King of Lal Bagh is seen
wearing a gold crown on his head. Its weight is said to be around 20 kg.
Talking about the price of the crown, gold worth Rs 15 crore is used in
Bappa's crown. According to the news, this crown of the King of Lal Bagh has
been gifted to Ganpati Ji by Anant Ambani on behalf of Reliance Foundation. It
took two months to prepare this grand crown. This crown has been made by many
skilled artisans with hard work.

The Lal Bagh Raja temple was established in 1934. This magnificent Ganesha
temple is located in the Parel area of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Lal Bagh Raja is
worshipped as a god who fulfills wishes. There is a 5-10 km long queue of
devotees to have darshan of Ganpati Ji in the grand Ganeshotsav which lasts
for 9-10 days on Ganesh Chaturthi.
