Beneficiary verification process for payment of 17th installment for farmer beneficiaries registered in Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana by Government of India is going on till next 31st July. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Aadhaar seeding – DBT enabled bank account from 13th installment and e-KYC from 15th installment has been made mandatory by the Government of India. According to the list of the Director of Agriculture, all the farmers beneficiaries of the state who have yet to get e-KYC and Aadhaar seeding-DBT enabled of their bank accounts have to complete it immediately.
According to the list, farmers will be able to complete e-KYC through four different methods. E-KYC can be done through face authentication from PM Kisan mobile application by contacting gram sevak and village nodal officer. Also, those farmer beneficiaries whose mobile number is linked with Aadhaar card can easily do e-KYC through OTP mode on PM Kisan portal or mobile at home. If there is no mobile number link in Aadhaar card, e-KYC can be done on PM Kisan portal through OTP mode on mobile by linking mobile number with the help of India Post Payment Bank. Apart from this, at the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) and at the e-Gram Kendra, the beneficiary will pay Rs. 15 can also get e-KYC done through biometric authentication by paying a fee.
Online e-kyc Process
- Visit the PM-Kisan website.
- Navigate to the ‘Farmers Corner’ and click on the ‘e-KYC’ icon.
- Provide your Aadhaar number and click on ‘Search’.
- Enter your mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card and click ‘Get OTP’.
- You will receive an OTP on the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar card. Enter the OTP to complete your e-KYC.
Farmer beneficiaries have to attend the bank with Aadhaar card and get Aadhaar seeding and DBT enabled in the beneficiary bank account. Apart from this, a form has to be filled to enable direct benefit transfer i.e. DBT in the Aadhaar seeded bank account. After that DBT Enable will have to be made mandatory by guaranteeing. Apart from this process, the beneficiary can open a new account with Aadhaar seeding-DBT enabled in India Post Payment Bank by being present with Aadhaar card at the village or nearest post office. In order to receive all the installments continuously, the remaining beneficiaries have to complete e-KYC and bank account Aadhaar seeding – DBT enable before next 31st July.
