Bajaj Auto has launched the world's first CNG motorcycle in the Indian market.
The name of this world's first CNG bike is Freedom. Bajaj Auto has not
compromised on the safety of this bike and has passed 11 different safety
tests before launching it in the market.
Bajaj Auto, the country's top two-wheeler manufacturer, has done something
that no one in the world has done till date. Bajaj Auto today officially
launched the world's first CNG bike Bajaj Freedom for sale. Union Road and
Transport Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present at the launch of
this historic motorcycle, who called it a game changer. Equipped with
attractive looks and a sporty design, the bike is priced at a starting price
of Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom).
How is the world's first CNG BIKE
Bajaj Auto has launched this bike in the commuter segment. But the team has
done a great job on the look and design of this bike. The first question that
will come to your mind when you first see this bike is the CNG cylinder.
Looking at this bike, you might not guess where the company has placed the CNG
cylinder in this bike. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also praised him.
Where is the CNG cylinder?
Bajaj Auto claims that this bike has the longest seat in the segment (785MM)
which covers the fuel tank at the front to a large extent. A CNG tank is
placed under this seat. In this green color represents CNG and orange
represents petrol. The bike is given a strong trellis frame which not only
makes the bike light but also makes it strong. The company says that the bike
has passed 11 different industry tests that make it completely safe. The bike
has also been tested from the front, side, top and under a truck.

Power and Performance
In the world's first CNG bike, Bajaj Freedom, the company has provided a 125
cc petrol engine. This engine generates 9.5PS of power and 9.7Nm of torque. In
which the company has given 2 liter petrol fuel tank and 2 kg capacity CNG
tank. The company claims that this bike offers a driving range of up to 300 km
on a full tank (petrol + CNG).
Variants and Price
The company has introduced Bajaj Freedom in three variants. Which comes with
both disc brake and drum brake braking system. This bike is available for sale
in a total of 7 colors. It includes Caribbean Blue, Ebony Black-Grey, Pewter
Grey-Black, Racing Red, Cyber White, Pewter Grey-Yellow, Ebony Black-Red
colors.

Bajaj Auto claims that the running cost of this bike is much lower than any
petrol model. Its operation cost will be reduced by around 50 percent during
daily use. In this way, the vehicle owner can save approximately Rs 75,000 in

Bike will run 1 KM for 1 rupee!
The company has mentioned five special features of the Bajaj Freedom CNG bike
that make it the most special. The first is contemporary styling, the second
is innovative tech packaging, the third is the large seat, the fourth is the
robust trellis frame and the fifth is the linked monoshock. During the launch
event of Bajaj Freedom CNG, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the cost of
running a CNG two-wheeler will be Rs 1 per kilometer.

This Freedom CNG bike from Bajaj Auto has a 2 kg CNG cylinder and a 2 liter
petrol tank. Apart from this, the company has used a linked monoshock for
better comfort.

CNG mileage of Bajaj Freedom
The bike has a 125 cc single cylinder engine that can run on both petrol and
CNG. Bajaj Auto claims that with this bike, customers will get a total mileage
of up to 330 kms on both fuels. A button is provided in the bike to switch
from Petrol to CNG and from CNG to Petrol, which will make this work easy.
