upset by defeating Pakistan in the Super Over. Deciding to bat first after
losing the toss, Pakistan scored 159 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20
overs. Chasing the score, the US team could also score only 159 runs for the
loss of three wickets in 20 overs. After this the Super Over was played.

Aaron Jones and Harmeet Singh came to bat for the US in the super over. Both

According to reports, after losing the match, Pakistan captain Babar Azam said
that he failed to assess the situation. In the match, America bowled and
batted better than us. He said that while batting first, we did not perform
well in the first 6 overs. We were on the backfoot after losing 2 wickets in a
row. Babar said after the match that even our spinners could not take wickets
in the middle overs, due to which we had to suffer the consequences.

In the match played against Pakistan, American left-arm spinner Nostush Kenzig
took three wickets for 30 runs, due to which Pakistan's team could score only
159 runs for seven wickets. In such a situation, America's decision to bowl
first proved to be right. In the second over of the match, Steven Taylor
caught Mohammad Rizwan out on Saurabh Netravalkar's ball and sent him to the
pavilion. After this, Fakhar Zaman tried to bat aggressively, but in the fifth
over he gave an easy catch to Taylor on Ali Khan's ball. Pakistan lost three
wickets for 26 runs. Mohammad Rizwan scored 9 runs, Usman Khan scored 3 runs
and Fakhar Zaman scored 11 runs.
America will face India on June 12
Before the match against India, USA is at the top of Group A with 2 wins in 2
matches. USA defeated Canada by 7 wickets in its first match. Pakistan's next
match is against India on 9 June. When America will face India on 12 June.
