This time the schedule of the general election was as follows
This time the Lok Sabha elections were held in seven phases, under which 102
votes were cast in the first phase on April 19, 89 in the second phase on
April 26, 94 in the third phase on May 7 and 96 in the fourth phase in May. 13
and 96 votes were cast in the fifth phase on May 20. Voting was held on 49, 57
Lok Sabha seats in the sixth phase on May 25 and 57 Lok Sabha seats in the
seventh phase on June 1.
When will the term of the 17th Lok Sabha end?
The term of the current 17th Lok Sabha will end on June 16, 2024. In this
general election, there were about 97 crore (96.8 crore) registered voters in
the country and 10.5 lakh polling stations were set up. 1.5 crore polling
officers and security personnel were deployed for the election, while 55 lakh
electronic voting machines (EVMs) and four lakh vehicles were arranged.
