But the Center has changed the rules and now there is no need to go to the RTO office for the license.

Rules applicable from June 1
This rule has come into effect from June 1, 2024. The work of driving license test will now be handed over to private hands. People can go to private training centers and take the exam and apply online to get a driving license. This will make the work of the people easier.

This rule change of the Center will save people's time and the license will be made quickly. Earlier there was corruption in making licenses due to middlemen. People had to pay more money. But with the change in rules, people will be able to get licenses at a cheaper rate.
This will be the fine
Driving by a minor in India is a crime. License is mandatory for a person above 18 years of age. If you drive without a license, a fine of Rs 2000 will be imposed. If a minor is driving, a fine of Rs 25000 will be imposed and action will also be taken against the parents. And the vehicle registration certificate will be canceled.
How to apply online
- First of all go to the site https://sarthi.parivahan.gov.in/.
- After this select your state and select the Driving License menu in New Driving License.
- Add the learning driving license number to it and also enter the date of birth.
- Fill the application form and click on the Next button.
- Go to the RTO office and give the original documents and fee slip.
- After this you can get a license by going to a private driving training center.
