Which is now known as 'Sari Cancer'. Apart from this, there are some clothes which can cause cancer if worn incorrectly.
This cancer is being seen in India
Saree cancer is only seen in India because sarees are worn the most in India. In many parts of India, women wear sarees 12 months a year and 7 days a week. The risk of developing this cancer is higher in areas where heat and humidity are high. According to the doctor, such cases are currently being reported from Bihar and Jharkhand.
What does the research say?
Saree cancer accounts for 1 percent of all cancer cases in women in India. In medical language it is called Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Research has also been done at RN Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, India. Dhoti was also included in this research. Sari cancer was given the name by the doctors of Bombay Hospital. When there was a case in which a 68-year-old woman was diagnosed with sari cancer. This woman used to wear sarees from the age of 13.
Canker cancer
Similarly, skin cancer called Kangdi cancer occurs in Kashmir. On very cold days, the men and women there sit with a fire like a thumb in an earthen pot inside their clothes to keep them warm. But this heat continuously received by stomach and thighs can cause cancer.
Testicular cancer
In men, too tight fitting jeans have been blamed for cancer. According to research, jeans increase the temperature in the lower part of men. It also reduces sperm count and can lead to testicular cancer (ovarian cancer). However, concrete results of this research are yet to come.
