Cyclone is moving towards Bengal at a fast pace, there will be a heavy impact in these states including Gujarat
Cyclone Remal Alert In India: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal will intensify.
Cyclone Remal Tracking: The IMD said that on Sunday, Cyclone 'Remal' will hit Bangladesh and the adjoining Bengal coast in the form of a storm. Winds can blow at a speed of 102 kilometers per hour due to a cyclone.

The Meteorological Department said that due to cyclonic storm Ramal, coastal districts of West Bengal, North Odisha, Mizoram, Tripura and South Manipur are likely to receive heavy rainfall on May 26-27.
The IMD has advised fishermen who had gone fishing in the sea to return to the shore by May 27 and not to venture into the Bay of Bengal.
IMD said heavy to very heavy rain (115.5-204.5 mm) may occur in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh on May 27, 2024.

The Meteorological Department said that intense heat wave is likely in some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.
IMD has predicted heat wave on May 27, 2024 at different places of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.
