Hundreds of years old history is hidden behind the place of Bhurkhiya Hanumanji. About 300 Khakhi Sadhus of the community of Saint Raghuveer Dasji of Ayodhya used to roam in the grounds on the banks of Veergama outside Golwad Darwaza. One night Mahatma Damodar Dasji slept in a free night. At night he had a dream in which he realized that there was a big forest with a hill between Damnagar and Lathi, reached there before Chaitra Purnima and at midnight of Purnima Dada appeared.

This temple in Bhurkhiya village of Lathi taluka of Amreli district is four centuries old. According to folklore, poet Pingalshibhai Gadhvi visited this temple. Here Hindu religious choice is important. Devotees come here from far and wide to fulfill their wishes. Bhatigaal-grand fair is organized here on the day of Chaitra Sud-15.
