Doordarshan said that Ram Lalani Aarti will be telecast live on DD National from 6.30 am. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that this facility has been considered keeping in mind the immense faith of Lord Ram's devotees.

With the inauguration of the Ram temple, the 500-year wait of Ram devotees has come to an end. According to Ramayana, Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya. According to religious belief, Lord Rama's son Kush built his temple in Ayodhya. There were 3000 temples of Sitaram in Ayodhya alone. Historians say that many of these temples began to deteriorate in the fifth century. At the same time King Vikramaditya of Ujjain came to Ayodhya and repaired the temples.
