Android phones always play with risks. Every week there are malware of reports in Android apps for phones. Now there is another news which has worried the Android users. 18 such apps have been identified on the Google Play Store as containing Spylone malware. Millions of people have installed loan apps containing this malware on their phones.
These loan apps are designed in such a way that they can steal user data. These loan apps also save users' photos from their phones in their servers and then blackmail people based on these photos and videos.
This information is given in a report by ESET. The report says that with the help of SpyLoan, these loan apps bypass several types of permissions. They also dodge Google's Play Store policy. Through these apps people get instant loans for very high interest is also charged. Users in Africa, Latin America and South East Asia are being targeted by these applications containing Spylone malware.
Before publishing any app on Google Play Store, the developer has to undergo KYC. These apps bypass that too. These apps are provided with links to fake websites and fake documents that look similar to the original.
As soon as a user applies for a loan from these apps, they ask for various permissions to grant the loan, including contact list, camera, messages, Wi-Fi network, call logs, calendar, etc. Before taking the loan, the repayment period is shown differently but after granting the loan, these apps reduce the period and then start blackmailing the users.
A user has claimed that he took a loan of Rs 2,160. He paid in 60 days with interest Rs. 2,640 was to be returned, but one of these loan apps charged him Rs. 4,800 was collected. ESET's report says that information about these apps has been provided to Google.

After receiving the information, Google has deleted 17 apps but one app is still present on Play Store. The names of these apps

If any of these apps are in your phone, delete them immediately and report to the cyber police if someone is blackmailing you.
