Bank Holiday List October 2023 - Banks will remain closed for 15 days!

Banks will stay shut for a few days in October because of Gandhi Jayanti, Navratri and Dussehra. According to the RBI list, banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the month of October including Saturday and Sunday holidays. Apart from the public sector, there will be a holiday of 15 days in private sector and regional banks also. In such a situation, you can plan your holidays by looking at the list of holidays in advance so that you do not face any problem in completing any work related to the bank.

2 October 2023- Banks across the country will remain closed due to Gandhi Jayanti.

8 October 2023- Banks across the country will remain closed due to Sunday.

14 October 2023- Banks will remain closed in Kolkata and across the country on second Saturday due to Mahalaya.

15 October 2023- Banks across the country will remain closed due to Sunday.

18 October 2023- Banks will remain closed in Guwahati due to Kati Bihu.

21 October 2023- Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Guwahati, Imphal, Kolkata due to Durga Puja/Maha Saptami.

22 October 2023- Due to it being Sunday, all banks across the country will remain closed.

24 October 2023- Due to Dussehra, banks will remain closed across the country except Hyderabad and Imphal.

25 October 2023- Due to Durga Puja (Dasai), all banks of Gangtok will remain closed.

26 October 2023- Banks will remain closed in Gangtok, Jammu and Srinagar due to Durga Puja (Dasai) / Merger Day.

27 October 2023- Banks will remain closed in Gangtok due to Durga Puja (Dasai).

28 October 2023- Banks will remain closed across the country including Kolkata due to Lakshmi Puja and fourth Saturday.

29 October 2023- Banks across the country will remain closed due to Sunday.

31 October 2023- Banks will remain closed in Gujarat on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
