Banks will stay shut for a few days in October because of Gandhi Jayanti, Navratri and Dussehra. According to the RBI list, banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in the month of October including Saturday and Sunday holidays. Apart from the public sector, there will be a holiday of 15 days in private sector and regional banks also. 27 October 2023- Banks will remain closed in Gangtok due to Durga Puja (Dasai).
28 October 2023- Banks will remain closed across the country including Kolkata due to Lakshmi Puja and fourth Saturday.
29 October 2023- Banks across the country will remain closed due to Sunday.
31 October 2023- Banks will remain closed in Gujarat on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
